Networking

The Association holds functions throughout the year to enable members, guests and visitors to network and/or to find out about other businesses in the district.

The breakfasts are very popular and those who attend still manage to get to work by 9. Everyone gets an opportunity to promote themselves at these lively meetings. This year we hope to have more guest speakers.

Evening functions are held periodically, often sponsored by a member who wishes to invite fellow members to view their premises and how they conduct their business.

The biggest fund-raising event is the Dinner/Auction night. This year it will be held in August. Following requests from the regulars, there will be a quiz during the evening in addition to the auction. Last year Nic was a very enthusiastic quiz master and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely.

The committee is working enthusiastically to present the first Malaga Business awards and our golf day is being reorganised into a twilight event.

Finally, the sundowner after the AGM is a great opportunity to meet your fellow members and to find out about the Association's progress or upcoming plans. Everyone is encouraged to attend this event - especially as the food supplied by the Ballajura College is simply delicious!
