Networking
The Association holds functions throughout the year to enable members,
guests and visitors to network and/or to find out about other businesses
in the district.
The monthly breakfasts are very popular and those who attend still
manage to get to work by 9. Everyone gets an opportunity to promote
themselves at these lively meetings.
Evening functions are held periodically, often sponsored by a member
who wishes to invite fellow members to view their premises and how
they conduct their business.
The biggest fund-raising event is the
Dinner/Auction night. This year it will be held in May instead of
October. Following requests from the regulars, there will be
a quiz during the evening followed by dancing after the auction.
Finally, the sundowner after the AGM is a great opportunity to meet
your
fellow members and to find out about the Association's progress or
upcoming plans. Everyone is encouraged to attend this event - especially
as the food supplied by the Ballajura College is simply delicious!
If you would like to sponsor an event (not necessarily in your own
premises) please talk to Julie Davies about the various ways this
can be done. She will be only too happy to discuss your plans with
you and push your ideas to the Committee.
